Solve sqrt of 2x+6-4=0. Show work.

2x+6-4=0
First combine like terms:
2x+2=0
Then subtract +2 from both sides:
2x+2=0
-2. -2
Now: 2x=-2
After that you divide both sides by positive 2
And X= -1
